The site for the Central Illinois Bi Women social group has moved to Facebook.  A public-facing page is available to introduce yourself and contact the administrator for access to the private site.  You must have a Facebook account and be signed in to see either page.  If you have any questions or would like to join the group, please send an e-mail to cibw_fb@hotmail.com or info@achr-il.com.

Hopefully the remodeling of our office is nearing completion. We are no longer boarded up and the new windows are in place. There is still interior work to be done, so we do not have a firm date for reopening. We are looking towards being able to have the office open again in early fall. At this time we are not planning to have regular office hours when we do open but will be available for special events and groups. Read more »

After our June issue went to press we received word that Ruth & Tana, longtime citizens/activists in our community, recently celebrated 30 years of sharing, bitching, living, laughing, loving, and enjoying each other.

Many of you will remember these two special people as the owners/operators of Once Upon a Time Books And Gifts, the LGBT bookstore and gift shop in downtown Bloomington. Their business and its goal to provide a service to the community helped make BloNo a more welcoming place for LGBT people and is still missed to this day.

Congratulations to this very special couple on their milestone!
