Peoria Pride Festival kicks off fall LGBT season
Written by admin on September 8, 2010The second annual Peoria Pride Festival will kick off at noon on Sunday, Sept. 12 at the CEFCU stage on the Peoria Riverfront.
Following on the heels of last year’s phenomenal success the festival is again offering a full afternoon of fun including stage entertainment, vendors, food options and LGBT organization information booths.
Entertainment lined up includes Ongina (RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 1 Finalist); Ronnie Nyles & The Tallulah Who Band; Amy Kelly & the Bill Ande Band; Amasong Female Chorus; and September Murphy.
Admission to the festival is $5 and free admission for individuals 14 and under. A dollar from each paid admission will go toward local LGBTQ organizations.
